How It All Started
Owner Milton Marentette grew up around engines. His father was a mechanic. So was his uncle. It was in the family long before it became a career. Milton started his first business at 18, taking small jobs and building skills, but life pulled him in other directions for a while. He sold insurance, started a family, and eventually went back to school at Northwestern Michigan College, where he earned an Associate’s degree and a Master Auto Technician Certificate.
From 2000 onward, Milton ran his own mobile repair operation, traveling to businesses and individuals across the Traverse City area. He later worked at Lakeside Automotive in Traverse City and Dave’s Garage before launching his own brick-and-mortar shop with his family in Buckley, MI. When they outgrew that space, Milton purchased the current building on M-37 and opened Integrity Import Service in the fall of 2016. What started as a passion built in a family garage has grown into one of the most trusted auto repair facilities in the Traverse City region.
